Neediness is a major issue when it comes to dating, Especially for us
men. How needy you appear to be has a direct effect on your perceived
social value, and thus your chances of landing yourself some high
quality women. As a whole, women have a variety of turn-ons and turn-
offs that can vary significantly from woman to woman, but no women is
turned on by a needy man. You simply will never heard a woman say "I
love guys that are clingy and won't stop texting/calling my phone!"
It just doesn't happen. Period.
I think by now you are starting to get the picture; acting needy is
really, REALLY bad. It is a surefire way to ruin your chances with
any new woman that you've just met, and to demolish any new
relationships that you are fortunate enough to start. You simply can
not maintain the interest and attraction of a woman if she views you
as being a needy man, because she will always think of you as being
"below" her from a social standpoint.
Women don't seriously date men with less social value than themselves,
they may toy around with you and lead you on, but that is as far as it
is ever going to go.
With all of this in mind, I've put together a quick check-list for you
of the top 5 things that men commonly do (most of the time without
even knowing it) that gives off the needy vibe to woman and lowers
their social standing. Use this list to either change your current
behavior, or to avoid falling into these mistakes in the future if you
haven't already.
Here they are:
Too much contact: This is the biggest of the bunch. Contacting a woman
over and over again is the quickest way to appear needy. This includes
calling her, texting her, showing up at her work, and all other forms
of communication. If you initiate contact with her multiple times per
day, you are being needy. The best way to handle this one is to limit
yourself to contacting her no more than once per day, and that
includes all forms of contact. A great general rule to follow is to
strictly use the telephone (text and talk) to set up dates and
meetings, nothing more. If you've been on the phone with her just
talking about random stuff for over 30 minutes, you are giving her a
bad impression of you.
Jealousy over other men: Want to know how to make yourself appear to
be really insecure and unworthy of the attention of any hot woman? Get
jealous when it comes to other men, that will definitely do that trick.
Instead, you should act like you don't care whether she talks to other
men (even if you do care) because you know that you are better than
those dudes and you aren't feeling challenged by them at all. Now, if
she is your long term girlfriend and is actively hanging out with
other guys, then you have a good reason to be a little suspicious, but
anything short of that you should completely blow off like a real man.
Always available: Needy men make themselves available to the women
that they are interested in 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. If she
calls, a needy man will ALWAYS answer the phone every single time. If
she shows up and asks him to just drop whatever he is doing to help
her out with something else, he will listen to her. Basically, if you
give a woman the impression that you are at her call regardless of the
time of day or how busy you may be, her perception of you will drop
faster than you can blink. To avoid this, only answer her phone calls
or respond to her text messages half of the time, and if she asks you
to do something with her when you are already busy, tell her that you
are busy and will meet up with her later. That is how a real man acts,
the type of man that she'll go to bed with in the blink of an eye.
Be that man.
Moving too quickly: When a needy man first meets a woman that he falls
for immediately, his first instinct is to go full force for a deep
relationship with her right away. He will usually be the first to step
it up and ask her to "go steady", and will also be the first to say
the dreaded 3 words "I love you". For a lot of men, these things just
"feel right" at the time and may appear to be the right thing to do,
but believe me they are huge mistakes that can ruin what you are
trying to accomplish. Your attitude towards a woman that you really
like should be identical to that of other woman that you are mildly
interested in. Pump those brakes and let things within the
relationship evolve naturally, don't force it.
Never saying no: Whether she is asking for a drink, for you to watch
her purse, help her move a couch, give her a ride, loan her some money,
change a tire on her car, or any other favor that a woman will ask of
a man that she believes to be needy enough to give in, you need to
learn how to say NO. There is nothing wrong with saying no, and it
isn't going to destroy any chances you have of getting with the woman.
If you don't feel like doing something that she wants, tell her so,
don't just give in because that you are afraid that she may never talk
to you again if you say no to her every once in a while. If she is the
type of woman that would drop you over something like that, she isn't
worth your time anyway because all that she is doing is using you.
There you have it. Those are the biggest mistakes that men make which
ultimately lead them to being viewed as needy, and needy is not
attractive. If you want to be highly successful with women, you will
need to learn how to avoid these blunders at all costs.
The good news is, these are all simple aspects of your dating life
that you can easily take control of with just a pinch of willpower.
After you eliminate these bad habits from your natural behavior, you
will see a dramatic change in the way that females view you, and will
have a much easier time getting them attracted to you and keeping it
that way.
